The Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (CNAM; National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts) is a doctoral degree-granting higher education establishment (or grand établissement) and Grande école in engineering, operated by the French government, dedicated to providing education and conducting research for the promotion of science and industry. It has a large museum of inventions accessible to the public.

Dr. Maria Russo, participated in the Workshop on behalf of the WP3 team, and gave a presentation regarding "3D Solid Foams with High Refractive Index Nanomaterials". The presentation dealt with microfluidic strategies used to develop 3D solid, highly monodisperse polymeric foams incorporating metal oxide nanoparticles, and the physico-chemical properties were described in detail.
