MICROFLUSA organized a Conference and it was a huge success!

Mar 13, 2019

Between February 25th and 27th 2019 the Microflusa team, organized a Conference titled "Colloidal Science and Metamaterials" in Paris. This Conference hopefully was he first of many to come.

This three-day meeting objective is to foster research aiming at the elaboration of new materials, by coupling colloidal science, soft matter and metamaterials, with a particular focus on subjects such as band gaps, hyperuniformity and self-assembly, bringing together experimentalists and theorists.

The conference will consist of single plenary sessions with both oral and poster presentations in addition to in-depth talks given by great international speakers:

  • Eli Yablonovitch, University Of California, Berkeley
  • David J. Pine, New York University
  • Frank Scheffold, University of Fribourg
  • Salvatore Torquato, Princeton University
  • Paul Chaikin, New York University

You can find more information, such as the full agenda and abstracts of all oral talks and photos of the Conference at the official site: https://www.csm2019.com.

On behalf of all of the MICROFLUSA Conference, we would like to thank all of you who attended! We're looking forward seeing you again, in a future similar event.
